Windows vista mainly use to photos and videos stored on a PC to created an attractive screen saver. It is used to serve a practical purpose. Now days, screen savers actions more as a bit of fun or as away to protect a PC when the owner is briefly away, by kicking in self recognization and asking for a password before they will return to windows proper. The monitor technology was less sophisticated, and their selling point to prevent the dreaded ‘screen burn’ for particular menu displayed. The windows XP can use photos and videos stored on the PC to create screen saver, but windows vista takes it several steps further.
Step 1:
To follow this work shop makes some decent video-clips stored in the PC that will make a pleasing screen-based slideshow. Start windows vista and when the Desktop has adopt a more steady, right click-on and choose and personalize from the popup menu. List of options will display then select a screen saver option.
Step 2:
This opens the vista screensaver setting dialogue box. Vista will be displayed on preview window. We can just open the list and then choose photos. The result will be that vista would run a slideshow of all the photos and videos stored in default folder and then click on ’ok’, view the screen saver. If not, read on go to next step.
Step 3:
To modify the screen saver works, make that videos can still selected from the drop down menu and click on settings button. The dialogue box possible to changes all the photos and videos used in screen saver. Currently it is set to display in the window photo gallery-vista uses to organize any photos and videos stored on PC.
Step 4:
This setting is fine for most occasions, but photos are a bit poor, it is easy to weed them out. Leave all the settings in dialogue box, open the dropdown list and choose the five starts entry-this will be display only those videos that have been given this rating.
Step 5:
Photos screen saver settings allow photos to be tagged with descriptive words-over the tags item mouse pointer over the, click and then type in a tag-for ex: ‘fish’ or ‘sunset’ and then return to the photos screen saver setting dialogue box. Tag can be used to include and exclude these photos with specific tags from the screen saver slide show.
Step 6:
Finally use this Dialogue box to select photos and videos from a specific location by clicking the radio button next to use pictures and videos from and click on ‘Browse’ button and picking the folder from the list appears, then select the style of the transitions between the images and select a speed. Select ‘shuffle contents ‘used to display the pictures and videos randomly. Finally click save and then click ‘ok’ to finish setting up the screen saver.
