Gmail gets free video chat!

Gmail introduce the service to users can select to communicate with our friends not only through an email and chat but also through voice and video processing. Google mail wants to give a competition to Yahoo! And Microsoft, who offer video with their immediate messaging service in reasonable time, but have not making accepted into e-mail.

To start video chatting, users just needed a web cam and a small web browser plug-in. User use this free service and in case, without a web cam can use audio chat option. To get started, open a Gmail chat window, click ‘option’ menu at the bottom of the page, select ‘add voice/video chat’ , in which will walk you through a once installation of a free plug-in.

According to, when you re-open Gmail, you will notice your ‘options’ link your chat windows has changed to ‘video & more’. Open this menu and click ‘start video chart’ to start chatting. If you pop out the video and changes its size and position or switch to full screen.

You can use voice and video chatting, your PC most having windows XP (or) a more latest version, or an Intel based Mac with OSxv10.4 (or) later. The working of the browser can support the recent version of Gmail such as Google chrome, Firefox 2.0+, Internet Explorer 7.0 and safari 3.0.
