The Semantic Web is a network of information connected up in such a method as to be easily process able by machines, on an international level. The Web needs a human operator, using computer systems to carry out the tasks necessary to find, search and combined its information. The Semantic Web is plans that intend to change this by presenting Web page data in such a way that it is understood by computers, allowing machines to do the searching, collective and combining of the Web’s information without a human operator.
Semantic Web technologies are popular in areas like research and life sciences where it can help researchers by combined data on different medicines and illnesses that have numerous names in different parts of the world. Semantic Web applications are used in a variety of different tasks, were it raising the modularity of applications on the Web. The main feature of Semantic Web is that a web is able to explain things in a way that computers can understand.
